Artist Submission Guidelines

As a destination gallery in Maine, Blue Raven presents a curated program of contemporary painting, photography, jewelry and sculpture for both regional and national collectors.

Before submitting work, please note:

• Please do not send website links for review.
• Submit a single PDF contact sheet with 5–8 recent paintings coming directly from the studio.
• Works should represent a cohesive body of work and be professionally framed and ready to hang.

Blue Raven Gallery carefully reviews inquiries from artists whose work aligns with the gallery’s curatorial program.

Because artist websites are often not fully up to date in terms of availability, we ask that artists send a single PDF contact sheet of 5–8 recent paintings coming directly from the studio that represent their current and most cohesive body of work.

Please include the title, dimensions, medium, year, and retail price for each piece. This allows us to review work thoughtfully and ensures that we are considering paintings that are currently available for collectors through the gallery.

Due to the number of inquiries we receive, we are not always able to respond to every submission, but we sincerely appreciate the opportunity to review new work. Submissions are most successful when the artist has developed a clear and consistent body of work.
